In a statement posted on X and on their website on Jan. 17, 2025, NFT platform and marketplace, MakersPlace, announced that it will be ceasing operations soon.¹ Citing market conditions as a factor in exiting the market, MarkersPlace has made this difficult decision after championing digital art since 2018.
