đ Evening Brief: Bitcoin Is Amazing. Try Not Being Bitter About It.
If Bitcoin is truth, it should produce transformationânot just financial, but personal.
While we WAIT for Bitcoin to âdo somethingâ my desire with this is to encourage you to be a better person. As Aaron Rogers famously said (paraphrase) ââŠto all those out there in Bitcoin Land, I have five letters for you: R - E - L - A - X ⊠Relax- itâs going to be okay.â
Letâs talk.
Bitcoin is one of the most amazing inventions in human history.
Like⊠wheel-level amazing.
Airplane level amazing.
Internet-level amazing.
And yetâŠ
some Bitcoiners act like they just woke up late for school every day and stepped on a Lego.
Why?
This whole vibe reminds me of what Louis C.K. once said:
âEverything is amazing, and nobody is happy.â
Bitcoiners believe they found:
The hardest money ever
A system no one can cheat
A way out of the hamster wheel
And somehow the result is:
Constant anger
Endless dunking on ânormiesâ
Political yelling
And way too many ALL CAPS tweets
Respectfully⊠thatâs weird.
The Bitter Bitcoiner Problem
Bitcoin is supposed to lower stress.
Fixed supply.
Long time horizons.
Tick tock, next block.
So if Bitcoin makes you:
More anxious
More rude
More smug
More online
Something is off.
Bitcoin does not need you to be mad to be right.
It doesnât need enemies.
It doesnât need a villain arc.
If Bitcoin is inevitable (as many claim), then acting frantic is⊠a choice.
Knowledge Without Love = Just Being Loud
Thereâs a verse in the Bible that hits Bitcoin Twitter right in the feels.
In 1 Corinthians 13, it says:
Love is patient.
Love is kind.
It does not boast.
It is not proud.
It is not rude.
It is not easily angered.
Quick gut check:
Has Bitcoin made you more patient⊠or quicker to roast?
Kinder⊠or sharper with sarcasm?
Calmer⊠or louder?
Because hereâs the mic drop:
If I have all knowledge, but do not have love, I am nothing.
You can understand Bitcoin perfectly
and still be terrible to be around.
Bitcoin Is Leverage â Love Is the Proof
Bitcoin is not the finish line.
Bitcoin is leverage.
Leverage over:
Time
Stress
Fear
Scarcity
What matters is what you do with that leverage.
If Bitcoin gives you margin and the result is:
Flexing
Mocking
Hoarding
Doomposting
Congrats, you missed the assignment.
Do for One What You Wish You Could Do for All
Every Bitcoiner eventually thinks:
âIf everyone just understood thisâŠâ
Yeah. Same.
But you canât help everyone.
You can help someone.
Start with your family.
If Bitcoin helped you step off the rat race even a little:
Be more present
Reduce money stress at home
Be calmer with your people
Stop bringing Twitter energy to the dinner table
Strong families create strong communities.
Strong communities create strong cities.
Strong cities create strong nations.
Bitcoin doesnât scale through arguments.
It scales through healthy households.
Show Bitcoin, Donât Shout Bitcoin
Want to convince people Bitcoin works?
Live better.
That looks like:
Helping someone quietly
Covering a bill without posting receipts
Teaching without talking down
Giving without expecting applause
Love does not boast.
Twitter does.
Choose wisely.
Educate, Donât Ridicule
Truth doesnât need insults to win.
A good Bitcoiner:
Explains simply
Uses stories, not insults
Remembers they were once confused too
Mockery makes people defensive.
Patience makes people curious.
Curiosity wins.
About Politics (Yes, Weâre Going There)
Some Bitcoin YouTube talking heads love yelling about how:
Democrats are âattacking Bitcoinâ
Regulators are enemies
Everyone not orange-pilled is evil
Are some Democrats wrong about Bitcoin?
Sure.
Is yelling at them working?
Also sure â itâs not.
Bitcoin is not conservative or progressive.
Itâs neutral infrastructure.
And a lot of skeptics care about things Bitcoin actually helps:
Financial inclusion
Transparency
Protection from big institutions
You can attract with honey instead of vinegar
and still be correct.
Bridge-building is harder than dunking.
But itâs the work.
Bitcoin Should Bring Us Together
Bitcoin should not:
Divide families
Wreck friendships
Turn neighbors into enemies
If it does, thatâs not Bitcoinâs fault.
Thatâs on us.
The Bible wraps it up simply:
Faith, hope, and love remain â but the greatest of these is love.
Bitcoin may fix money.
Love fixes people.
And people fix everything else.
Final Thought
If Bitcoin is real:
Be calmer
Be kinder
Be more generous
Be more present
Do for one what you wish you could do for all.
Because the strongest proof of Bitcoin isnât price.
Itâs people who are visibly freer â
financially, emotionally, and relationally â because of it.
And that future wonât be built by rage tweets.
Itâll be built by people doing the quiet, hard work of love.
