POLAND’S PRESIDENT VETOES CRYPTO BILL
Poland’s president vetoed a sweeping crypto regulation package, saying it threatened innovation, property rights, and the freedom of citizens. The bill would have allowed authorities to block crypto websites, impose heavy supervisory fees, and add complicated opaque rules on users and businesses.
President Karol Nowacki said it would push companies toward friendlier jurisdictions like the Czech Republic and Lithuania while undermining Poland’s competitiveness. Government officials attacked the veto and accused him of choosing chaos over consumer protection. Crypto advocates say the country already fails to pursue scammers, and EU-wide MICA protections arrive in 2026 anyway.
So why jam through a huge restrictive bill right before the EU harmonizes everything. Looks like politics and backroom pressure, not policy.
TRUST WALLET NOW HAS IN-WALLET PREDICTION MARKETS
Myriad and Trust Wallet rolled out the first fully integrated in-wallet prediction markets. You can now trade event outcomes directly inside Trust Wallet using the assets already in your wallet. Tens of millions of users get one-click access to prediction markets without leaving the app.
Trust Wallet has always been one of the smartest product teams in crypto. DEX, NFTs, swaps, cross-chain support, now prediction markets. It was obvious and overdue. It just took someone with guts to do it.
THE XIAOMI CAMERA MOMENT
I saw a Xiaomi ad that blew my mind. The phone uses MagSafe to attach a professional round camera lens directly to the back of the phone. Your phone becomes a full professional camera body with pro glass, wireless data, and computational power. It is brilliant and obvious in hindsight. Now I cannot stop thinking about what else attaches to the back of a phone. Speakers. Batteries. Sensors. The whole industry just changed.
VANGUARD FINALLY BENDS TO CRYPTO
Vanguard is allowing its 50 million brokerage customers to trade crypto ETFs and mutual funds. This reverses years of hostility. Starting Tuesday, investors can get exposure to Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and Solana in the same way they buy commodities.
Demand forced it. Spot Bitcoin ETFs have grown to roughly $125 billion in assets. BlackRock’s IBIT alone holds about $70 billion. The new CEO Salim Ramji, formerly of BlackRock, appears to be the one dragging Vanguard into the future. Fire the old guard, bring in a guy who actually understands demand, and now crypto is just another button on the brokerage dashboard.
KALSHI FIGHTING NEVADA IN COURT
Prediction market platform Kalshi is seeking court protection after losing a preliminary injunction in Nevada. Regulators argue Kalshi must follow state gaming laws, even though it has a federal CFTC license. Kalshi says federal authorization should cover all 50 states.
Crypto.com and Robinhood already paused operations to avoid enforcement. Robinhood is being Robinhood. Always soft, always cautious, always bailing at the first sign of pressure. Kalshi, meanwhile, is fighting. The company hit an $11 billion valuation after its latest raise. Analysts think the prediction market sector could reach $95 billion by 2035. I think it blows past that.
ELON MUSK: BITCOIN AS PHYSICS
Elon tied Bitcoin to physics, calling it a currency whose scarcity derives from real-world energy expenditure. He said energy, not money, is the fundamental value layer. He compared Bitcoin to the Kardashev scale, where civilization progress is measured by its ability to harness energy.
He also predicted AI and robotics could eventually eliminate money. I disagree. We are already in a post-scarcity world. The issue is not scarcity, it is human behavior and systems built around profit. Philosophically interesting, but Bitcoin is still volatile and still doing what Bitcoin does.
TRADER COBB: THE CRADLE ZONE AND THE PLAN
Craig Cobb joins us with a breakdown of the current trend. The short version: we pulled back into the cradle zone on multiple majors, and those moves have been textbook. He is still taking 1 to 1 profit targets because the market has been choppy for months. This is the cleanest trend structure in a long time, even if it is to the downside.
Monthly Bitcoin trend is still intact. No break in structure. Pullbacks are normal. He is watching for a daily higher low and higher high to form the perfect case for continuation. Quantitative tightening has officially ended. Macro looks solid underneath the surface. Altcoins remain a mess, but that may change with a structural shift.
