Thankful for Bitcoin: The Orange Pill That Changed My Life
“How Bitcoin Helped Me Buy Freedom, Not Just Stuff — And Why I’ll Never Go Back”
Alright fam, gather ’round the table. Today is Thanksgiving — the official day of gratitude, stretchy pants, and pretending that you only had one slice of pie. And while everyone else is out here thanking Aunt Niecie for the dry turkey, I’m taking a moment to give thanks to something that actually changed my life:
Bitcoin.
Yes, I said it.
Not your local bank.
Not the Federal Reserve.
Not Jerome Powell whispering sweet nothings about interest rates.
Not the U.S. dollar, which apparently deflates faster than a balloon in a cactus garden.
I’m thankful for Bitcoin — the digital asset that absolutely reprogrammed how I think about money, value, freedom, and the future.
What Bitcoin Did for My Life
Some people say Bitcoin is a scam.
Some say it’s confusing.
Some say it’s nerd magic internet money.
Cool. Be broke then. 😂
Meanwhile, Bitcoin has transformed my life unlike anything I could have ever imagined. I come from modest means as I explained to you all before but now I’ve been blessed to not be so concerned about my finances or my families finances ever again.
Bitcoin didn’t just change my bank account —
it changed my mind.
It taught me:
What money really is
Why saving in dollars is like collecting ice cubes in the summer
Why you can’t trust a system built on debt and dilution
Why freedom requires sovereignty, not permission
Bitcoin is a Force of Good
Bitcoin doesn’t care:
What color you are
What school you went to
How much money your parents had
Whether you’re rich or broke
Whether you’re the CEO or sweeping the floors
It has no respect of person.
You put in the work → you stack sats → you get rewarded.
Fair. Transparent. Predictable. Something the real world rarely is.
While governments print money like it’s a hobby, Bitcoin says:
21 million — that’s it. Play smarter, not harder.
And that’s why I’m thankful.
Gratitude Hits Different When You’re Free
Today, while the world argues about politics, inflation, war, and drama…
I’m grateful that I took the leap. (Please do the same this year if you haven’t)
I studied. (Keep reading, watching, and listening with me)
I stacked. (Some is better than none and more is better than less.)
I held. (Don’t get shook, remember BTFD)
I got better instead of asking for easier. (My hope for you as well)
Because Bitcoin doesn’t magically save you —
it gives you the tools to save yourself.
Thanksgiving Truth Bomb
Most people pray for a miracle.
Bitcoin taught me to be the miracle.
It showed me that freedom isn’t something you ask for.
It’s something you build.
And now I get to live a life I once only dreamed of — not because I’m special,
but because I said YES to something powerful when most people said NO. (Will you say yes? Please, please, pretty please!)
To Anyone Reading This
If you’re on the fence:
Don’t wait for perfect timing.
Don’t wait for permission.
Don’t wait until Bitcoin hits $500K and you’re crying into your oat milk latte.
Study. Save. Stack. Be disciplined.
Change your story.
In Conclusion
This Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for:
🥧 Family
🙌 Freedom
💪 Discipline
🧠 Knowledge
🟧 And Bitcoin — the greatest savings technology ever created
May your day be filled with peace, love, and orange-pill energy.
Happy Thanksgiving,

Great article! Congrats!
On a related note, for those interested, my recent piece explores BTC’s history through liquidity shocks, tightening cycles, and internal collapses to shed light on what really drives its rhythm.
