North Korea has long been connected to the cybercriminal group Lazarus Group. Lazarus Group has taken part in many cyber attacks that have compromised billions of dollars. With a recent Bybit exchange hack that became the largest ever in history, $1.4B, the threat of Lazarus Group continues to increase.

Demystifying North Korea Threat

North Korea’s Lazarus Group has resurfaced with a massive hack that became the largest in the finance sector. In February, Bybit withdrew over 1B USD worth of tokens from their cold address to a new address deployed using a new and unverified contract. As given, that wasn’t routine maintenance; the world’s biggest hack had just happened.
