And guess what? The talking heads over at Fox and MSNBC already have their verdicts. Trump’s either the next president or heading to the electric chair, depending on who you ask. Reality check: neither is happening immediately. If he's convicted, he'll appeal, and if acquitted, he'll be out campaigning, shouting about witch hunts and the deep state.

Democrats and Leadership: A Fantasy Story

Then there’s Biden. Can someone remind him that being president involves leading? Inflation is a beast we all feel daily. Groceries, insurance, you name it – everything's pricier. Yet, what’s Biden’s strategy? Blame everyone else. Remember that “transitory” inflation? Yeah, that was cute. And when it’s not Trump’s fault, it’s the Republicans or global economic pressures. Here’s an idea: own up to it, Joe. Leadership 101 – take responsibility and tell us how you plan to fix it.

Now, let’s talk debates. Vivek Ramaswamy, ever the conspiracy theorist, thinks Biden’s setting up some grandmaster chess move with the early debate. June 27th is the date, and Vivek thinks this is the Democrats playing 3D chess while the GOP is stuck with checkers. Really, Vivek? Biden’s team is scrambling because they know they’re in trouble. They need time to recover if (when?) he messes up. The idea that this is some brilliant strategy? Please.

Kamala Harris: The Elephant in the Room

Speaking of Biden’s troubles, Kamala Harris isn’t exactly winning any popularity contests. If Biden’s age worries you, Harris’s approval ratings should keep you up at night. Replacing her could shake things up, but will Biden have the guts to do it? Probably not. He seems more content to ride this sinking ship all the way to the 2024 election.

Conspiracy Theories: The Gift That Keeps on Giving

And back to Vivek. The guy’s convinced there’s a puppet master behind Biden, orchestrating everything. If there were puppet masters, don’t you think they’d replace Biden with someone who can stay awake during speeches? The idea that Biden’s a puppet is just the latest in a long line of GOP fantasies. But hey, it makes for great TV.

Here’s the bottom line. We’re desperate for authenticity. Trump’s followers love him because he’s unapologetically himself, lies and all. Biden needs to take a page from that book, minus the dishonesty. Own your mistakes, take clear stances, and for the love of God, stop pandering to every fringe group out there. Leadership is about making tough decisions, not just staying afloat.

So, where does that leave us? With a bunch of politicians playing games while we pick up the tab. The American public deserves better.
